Paper Summary

Natural Language Processing research moves at a fast pace. As such, NLP professionals must be familiar with the structure of publications in this field and comfortable summarizing research findings to competently navigate new research.

In this assignment, you will propose an NLP paper to summarize.

Rubric

Your paper summary proposal should provide a) a complete citation for an NLP paper (including a URL or DOI) involving some statistical component, b) a (very) brief description of the paper, and c) your motivation for this choice.

The selected paper should not already be widely reviewed/summarized.

You can earn a maximum of three points on this assignment (one for each of the components listed above).

To receive a grade, you must create a pull request in the course blog repository with your paper summary proposal.
