Colophon supports rapid book capture and review: photograph spines, covers, title pages, copyright pages, signature pages, and condition evidence; anchor extraction with ISBN or barcode metadata; use VLM/OCR workflows to propose structured records; and preserve confidence and provenance for human correction. The longer product direction is acquisition triage for used bookstores: valuation evidence, signature premium signals, buy/pass/research routing, listing drafts, and controlled buyer sharing rooms.
